One Tower Bridge
Fit out and finishing teams from Lucas have completed a series of packages at One Tower Bridge, the prestigious Berkeley Homes development on the South Bank of the River Thames next to Tower Bridge and directly opposite the Tower of London.
Our main fit out package was for the entire basement car park that runs underneath the whole of the development. Our team installed travertine stone cladding and back painted glass panels to the walls, applied an insulated render, specialist resin floor and demarcation coatings, and installed stainless steel clad timber doors and glazed metal doors.
We also installed a bespoke, special metal mesh ceiling across the whole car park. This was a complex process requiring our own design input to ensure a perfect fit. We also decorated and fitted out the facilities management offices.
We painted a total of 241 apartments and three penthouses in multiple new blocks on the development over several phases of work. These are luxurious, new 5-star homes and our wallcoverings and finishes were applied to the most exacting standards.
As ever the Lucas operations were carried out in accordance with our most rigorous safety standards. As a result we regularly topped the monthly safety statistics on the project and Berkeley Homes awarded us the overall safety award for Best Performing Contractor for the entire three year project.
