Services provided: internal and external redecoration
What was our client looking for? The University needed a painting team they could rely on to carry out redecoration work to several University buildings across the campus. Selected as the best people to do the job, we've been working alongside Cambridge University for several years and to date have redecorated the Judge Business School, the Goldie Boat House as well as the exterior facades of several other buildings.
How did we help? Cambridge University buildings are all very diverse so our team encountered different challenges on all of the projects. The interior of the Judge Business School is designed with unusual pipework structures making painting difficult, not only because of the complex internal design, but also because of the heights involved.
Our team have plenty of experience working at height and by using mobile platforms and making sure we followed all health and safety procedures, we overcame these challenges and completed a fantastic job.
In contrast to the modern Judge Business School the Goldie Boat House is a Grade 1 listed building, so decorating this historic property required specialist skills and methods of working. With careful attention to detail our team redecorated the building, breathing new life into the old boat house.
The results...The main entrance foyer to the University and surrounding corridors have been given a fresh new look, creating a warm and more inviting environment. This was achieved with minimum disruption to the normal running of the University and of course, was delivered on time and within budget.
