Great Marlborough Street, London
The expert team at BSPS were called in to fit out 50 Great Marlborough Street and have created a stunning mix of old and new ready to welcome a fresh batch of professionals.
Once a famous recording studio, five of the building’s floors, each containing their own WC and shower facilities, were comprehensively refurbished to the highest standard, as well as the reception and landlord areas, and external courtyards. BSPS also converted old disused, damp under pavement vaults into a fantastic bicycle storage area, showers, locker and changing facilities.
The works included comprehensive demolition and alterations to the buildings fabric, new raised access flooring, lighting, fire and security alarms as well as a completely new HVAC system throughout the building, with all the workings on show through a unique ‘see through’ mesh ceiling.
The building was occupied while BSPS worked their magic and had to work around the DB noise rating alarm of 65db.
With the building now fitted out to the highest standard, everyone in Soho will want to work there.
