QMUL Charterhouse Square - Labs
Project Brief
Pembroke & Bull were appointed to undertake decoration works to multiple rooms being converted into labs for research purposes.
Scope of Works
Painting & Decorating works started on the 05th Oct 202 and comprised of decoration to the following:
• Make good and decorate 6 research labs in Sterishield Diamond Eggshell
• Make good and decorate 3 new offices
• Decorate common parts throughout
Key Challenges
This new research facility was commissioned to provide research towards the fight against COVID-19. With large quantities of research equipment on order the team worked tirelessly to deliver the project on time.
As this was a design and build, there were late M&E alterations for which we were required to redecorate surrounding areas at the last minute ready for handover.
Overall Output
The project was completed as per programme with technicians and equipment moving in on time.
