Back
101 Camley Street
Project Brief
Pembroke & Bull were appointed to undertake decoration works to 74 apartments over 13 floors including common, main entrance and back of house areas.
The site occupies a pivotal location within both the Regent’s Canal and King’s Cross Conservation Areas and forms part of a ‘gateway’ to the future Camley Street regeneration area.
Scope of Works
Painting & Decorating works started on the 21st July 2021 and comprised of decoration to the following:
• Apartments from LG to 11th
• Reception/main entrance including
• Spraying to services in CAT B fit out area
Key Challenges
With new tenants poised to move in, it was paramount that all apartments were decorated on time, ready for the new occupants.
The team worked closely with the main contractor moving from top to bottom allowing the main contractor to mastic and undertake a builders clean.
Since the start of the pandemic social distancing has been a part of our life. This project enabled us to split the workforce over separate floors to maintain social distancing and in the event that someone did contract COVID-19 the contaminated area would be easily isolated.
Overall Output
The project was completed as per programme with tenants moving in on time.
Following on from a successful handover of the north tower, we have been awarded further works of the same nature in the south tower.
