41 Lothbury

Project Brief

Pembroke & Bull were appointed to work closely with our client to decorate various offices throughout the building and main entrance area.
41 Lothbury makes a bold first impression, with its immaculate neo-classical exterior and column-flanked entrance. This Grade II listed building is centrally-located in the City of London, and offers an exceptional workspace.

Scope of Works
Painting & Decorating works started on the 05 February 2018 and comprised of decoration to the following:
• Decoration to main entrance
• Decoration to basement areas including providing anti-slip floor paint throughout
• Decoration to 10 offices over various floors
• Decoration to fire exit staircase and lift lobbies on all floors

Key Challenges
As with any fit out in a live building, the challenges we faced were to undertake the works with minimal disruption, out of sight and in a timely manner. This was achieved by working closely with our client to identify areas that would be best worked out of hours and undertaking realistic and achievable targets to ensure that the ambiance and functions of the building were maintained when the buildings staff entered the building the following morning.
With new clients moving into multiple office areas within 12 weeks, time was of the essence to make sure that this project was delivered to spec within the allocated programme. We took the decision to bring the programme forward and completed in 9 weeks which allowed time for any variations requested by the client
Overall Output
The project was completed as per programme with fantastic feedback from tenants and building management.
