Hatch Lane Project -Windsor
This project was for a large building contractors based in Wallingford, Oxfordshire
Consisting of 41 Units, so far I have completed 21 units. 7 houses and 36 flats.
To achieve a quality finish we made sure all surfaces were prepared properly. We scraped off all flakes, filled, rubbed down and removed all dust and then the actual paint application.
For the paint colours we worked with the clients specifications and the brand they selected.
To decorate the walls and ceilings we applied 1 mist-coat and 2 top-coats. All the woodwork was decorated with a prime coat, undercoat and top-coat. This created a solid and professional finish.
We followed the HSE requirements of the site and adhered to all HSE guidelines. All employees wore full PPE while preparing surfaces and decorating each unit.
We also disposed of any paint cans and any hazardous materials in their designated locations.
The majority of the project ran smoothly but there were minor issues with water damage. This caused water stains on the ceilings of some of the units that were already decorated. In order to solve the problem we had to wait for the ceilings to dry out. Then we applied Zinsser , primer, sealer, stain killer to stop the stains from coming back though. After that we applied several coats of paint.
Our clients are pleased with the finished units and praise our professionalism and dedication to completing the project within the timeframe.
