3-5 Lorna Road: Mansard Roof Repair & Front Elevation Decoration

The freeholders of this block of flats contacted us following a survey that reported internal damp issues. We were enlisted to re-decorate the front elevation, which included one timber window and two wooden front doors. For this project, Dulux Weathershield Smooth Masonry in Buttermilk was selected. In addition to the redecoration, our roofer completed mansard roof repairs on the four parapet walls. This involved removing the roof tiles running up each parapet, installing new aluminium soakers and new code 3 lead flashing, and re-hanging the roof tiles. By using our cherry picker, we were able to complete the job efficiently, saving the client a significant amount compared to the cost of scaffolding.
