Doncaster Tourist Information Office
Bagnalls undertook the external painting work to both the Tourist Information office and Registry Office on this heritage property. It was carried out by Bagnalls operatives who were required to work from fixed scaffolding. The scaffolding was encapsulated to stop any debris from falling below. The duration of the works from start to finish took around 6 weeks. Works were completed using a Dulux Weathershield specification.
The windows on the side elevation above the Priory Place sign were bricked up, as this was the custom in times gone by. However, the council wanted the building to look like it did when it was originally built, so our craftsmen painter blackened out the window areas and then painted individual window panes by free hand.
Full internal redecoration works were carried out to transform several rooms inside the Mansion House to make way for the new Registry Office, including the Great Kitchen and the Priory Suite.
