Moda Living - The Mercian, Birmingham

The newly named Mercian is the tallest residential tower in Birmingham, housing 481 apartments and high-end communal spaces for its residents on Great Charles Street. Working with John Sisk & Son on this project allowed us to take on a number of local apprentices, who are cementing their learning at Sandwell and Solihull colleges. Our decoration works were completed using water-based products from Dulux, enabling high quality finishes in every space. Those spaces included a large atrium, apartments, corridors, a gym, underground parking, utilities rooms, storage space, maintenance rooms and lobbies. Completing high-end decorations on a site in the centre of Birmingham presented logistics challenges, particularly as it coincided with Paradise Circus being completely redeveloped, however those challenges were all overcome by working with integrity and discipline.
