Fort Dunlop - Travelodge

Established in 1917, Fort Dunlop is the common name for the original tyre factory and main office of Dunlop Rubber, based in Erdington, Birmingham. The Fort Dunlop building now comprises 360,000 SQ FT of commercial space over seven floors, over 1,500 car parking spaces and on-site amenities including retail, cafes and a gym. Ian Williams carried out external redecoration, painting over a very faded blue colour, refreshing the exterior which can be easily seen by thousands of motorists on the M6, daily.
