Contract details
Ian Williams has successfully delivered the repair and external painting contract with PCC and now PCH for the last 4 years. This has followed plans by PCC and now PCH to improve the external appearance of the housing stock. The current Budget is £2.2m pa. The contract involved pre painting repairs to fascias, rainwater systems, rendered walls and porches. Rendered walls were washed down treated with fungicidal solution and painted with a 3 coat masonry paint system. Garden fencing was also repaired where required and redecorated. Hand railing associated to the properties were also included in the decoration programme. Works were carried out to houses, flats and bungalows in various locations in Plymouth. There is a workforce of 20 Painters 12 Carpenters delivering the works on site. The site management team includes a Supervisor responsible for all site locations, supported by Forman and charge hands tailored to suit the requirements of each site location. All residents in individual properties have a choice of colours for the wall finishes providing bright fresh feel to the estates for both residents and visitors
